ChrisFlix is my own self-hosted movie streaming service. Think of it like Netflix — but built and run entirely from my home server. Behind the scenes, I use Unraid to store my movie collection safely. On top of that, I run a program called Jellyfin, which organizes everything into a slick, easy-to-browse library.
When I’m away from home, I still want to enjoy my movies. That’s where Twingate comes in — it’s like a secure tunnel that connects me back to my server, so I can watch ChrisFlix anywhere in the world.
So really, ChrisFlix is just Jellyfin — but hosted, managed, and personalized by me. The name makes it clear: it’s Netflix... but Chris-powered.
