Mariposa MMA · Help build the morning crew

Morning Jiu-Jitsu.
A stronger community.

I'm starting morning Gi Jiu-Jitsu and submission wrestling classes in Mariposa. I want to build a consistent, welcoming place to train before the workday — where beginners and experienced grapplers can grow together, on and off the mats.

Coached by Chris Curtis, Behring Jiu-Jitsu black belt. Planned opening before the end of 2026; location, pricing, and the exact start date are still being finalized.

Four mornings · Two disciplines

All times are local to Mariposa, California. Classes include instruction, focused practice, and live training.

More than mat time

Good training. Good people.

My goal is a safe, approachable training room where partners look after each other and higher belts help the room grow. Whether you want to compete or simply get stronger and learn, your goals belong here.

As we grow, I want to give back through free community events, charity support, and membership and competition scholarships — helping Mariposa become healthier and more connected.
